Mono Act Category: Sub Juniors, Juniors & Seniors Rules & Regulations · Duration (Max) : 4 minutes · Malayalam / English Language shall be used for Dialog delivery Evaluation Criteria · Idea clarity - 30% · Dialog delivery & Acting -50% · Theme & characterisation -20% Alumni Show Category : One group from each Alumni Alumni show is a stage performance and can be a combination of one or more different art forms presented in a way to reveal the theme. Theme for the Alumni show of Sargotsav 2011: “A story from an Epic’’ from the selected 12 Epic subjects as mentioned below. Rules & Regulations · Duration (Max) : 15 minutes including stage preparation. · Recorded music & sound can be used but character dialogue and introduction voice limited to the children. Alumni show shall be presented generally in Malayalam. · Each team shall hand over a copy of the write-up of the story of the Epic they are going to present from the selected 12 subjects mentioned below to the event convenor, at least 3 days before the event. · Group of minimum 5 children and maximum of 12 · Those who born on or after 28 Jan. 1993 are eligible to participate. · Maximum 2 curtains permitted per Alumni. But Flex curtains will not be permitted. · Maximum 3 hanging micro phones permitted (1 centre & 2 sides will be provided by Sargotsav 2011 Committee) · Standard stage lighting provided shall be used and adults can help to set up the off stage and on stage arrangements. (Please contact the concerned event convenor if you have questions at least 3 days before the event) · The Alumni shows / stage shows presented in previous Arts Fests / KEF events shall not be permitted. Evaluation Criteria · Theme manifestation -20% · Direction & Presentation -30% · Actor’s Performance & Coherence -30% · Visual Appeal -20% Selected EPIC Subjects are as follows; 1.
